I had a flick through the play, that we will be studying next term, Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare. I found the format a bit confusing, although i think i will quickly adapt to it. When we were watching the movie in class, i found the language, somewhat hard to understand. However in the book, it's much easier, this could be due to the characters, in the movie, speaking to fast for me to comprehend, what they were saying. Either that or perhaps, i just pick up more meaning when i read the words, not hear them. A character guilty of confusing me, a little, is Benedick, with his fast speech and old fashioned words and phrases he can be hard to follow sometimes. Just a little of what i think of it all, so far. :)
